Depending on the same requirements of financial means and/or merit, all international students in Italy are eligible to the same financial support services as Italian students. International students can apply to government scholarships at the national and regional levels. In addition, a few Italian universities provide scholarships to international students.
Government of Italy Scholarships for International Students
Italian citizens residing abroad (IRE) as well as foreign nationals are eligible for scholarships to study in Italy from the Italian government. Grants are available for PhD programs, Courses of Higher Education in Arts, Research under academic supervision (Progetti in co-tutela), Music, and Dance (AFAM), and Italian Language and Culture Courses are among the courses. The scholarship covers monthly allowance, health insurance, and tuition. Application for scholarships lasting three, six, or nine months is limited.Through a variety of Master's and postgraduate degree courses in English, in the fields of Engineering, Advanced Technologies, Architecture, Design, Economics, and Management at prestigious Italian universities, students from Azerbaijan, Colombia, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Turkey, Tunisia, and Vietnam can develop their skills and specialize thanks to the "Invest your Talent in Italy" programme, which is supported by the Italian Ministries for Foreign Affairs and Economic Development. EDISU Piemonte Scholarships
EDISU scholarships are available to students, including non-EU international students, enrolled full-time in Bachelor's, Master's, Single Cycle Master's, or PhD degree programs at one of the Piedmont Universities (The Politecnico of Torino, the University of Torino, the University of Eastern Piedmont).Applying part-time students must be enrolled in a bachelor's degree program.Many criteria affect the scholarship amount. International applicants registering in any of Bocconi University's qualifying Bachelor's or Master of Science programs are eligible for merit-based scholarships. For the most gifted foreign applicants accepted into a Master of Science degree, Politecnico di Milano provides a number of merit-based scholarships annually.
