Depending on the same requirements of financial means and/or merit, all international students in Italy are eligible to the same financial support services as Italian students. International students can apply to government scholarships at the national and regional levels. In addition, a few Italian universities provide scholarships to international students.

Government of Italy Scholarships for International Students

Italian citizens residing abroad (IRE) as well as foreign nationals are eligible for scholarships to study in Italy from the Italian government. Grants are available for PhD programs, Courses of Higher Education in Arts, Research under academic supervision (Progetti in co-tutela), Music, and Dance (AFAM), and Italian Language and Culture Courses are among the courses. The scholarship covers monthly allowance, health insurance, and tuition. Application for scholarships lasting three, six, or nine months is limited.

Padua International Excellence Scholarship Programme

Università Cattolica International Scholarships

Università Cattolica offers the UCSC International Scholarship, a yearly tuition discount program designed to increase international students' access to degree programs. About 25% of the whole cost is covered by the discount.
